emotional maturity

Teach yourself skills that will allow you to be a more well balanced, self aware, and emotional mature person. Identify which of the following skills you could improve on.

Establishing healthy boundaries

The ability to set limits and draw the line between what you are and aren't okay with, and determining and enforcing the consequences for when those boundaries are broken.

Emotional management

The ability to appropriately identify, express, manage, and accept your emotions.

Resilience

The ability to withstand, adapt, and overcome difficulties without spiraling or being overwhelmed by strong emotion.

Communication

The ability to express yourself effectively while also listening to and respecting what the other person is saying. This includes non verbal communication, such as eye contact, tone, and body language.

Frustration tolerance

The ability to accept that things won't always go your way, and to be able to react calmly and maturely when they don't.

Accountability

The ability to apologize and acknowledge when you've done something wrong, even though it's uncomfortable. Being aware of you mistakes and taking responsibility for your actions and your apologies.

Self love

The ability to do nice things for yourself, to make yourself happy, and to support yourself. Being able to take care of your body and soul on your own rather than spiraling into an unhealthy lifestyle.
